Our Process
Buying a diamond or having a custom piece of jewelry made is a significant purchase. I want the experience to feel exciting and effortless, not stressful or uncertain. Here is exactly how the process works from start to finish, so you always know what to expect.
Step 1: Let's Talk
Reach out to me through my Contact Page and tell me what you have in mind. Share your budget, the style and shape you're drawn to, the size and quality you're hoping for, and anything else that feels important. There are no wrong answers here, and I will meet you wherever you are in the process, whether you know exactly what you want or you're still figuring it out.
Step 2: I Finding Your Options
Once I understand what you're looking for, I search my wholesale network and come back to you with 3-4 options that meet your criteria. For each stone, I'll share photos, video when available, full details, the IGI or GIA certificate, and pricing. You'll have 24 hours to ask questions and let me know which direction you'd like to go.
A note on timing: stones at these quality levels and prices move quickly. The 24-hour window isn't pressure for pressure's sake. It's just the reality of sourcing these pieces at wholesale. When we land on the right stone, moving decisively is how we secure it for you.
Step 3: Invoice and Payment
Once you've made your selection, I'll send you an invoice through my Shopify store or PayPal, processed securely via Stripe. Higher-priced items or larger stones may require a higher deposit. Payment is due within 24 hours to hold your stone. If a payment window passes, I can't guarantee availability, but I'll always do my best to find you comparable alternatives.
Step 4: I Order and Inspect Your Stone
After payment, I purchase your stone and have it shipped directly to me for a quality check. I verify everything before it ever heads your way. If you're creating a custom piece, this is the phase where we work together most closely, going over design details and making sure every decision is one you feel confident about.
Step 5: What If Something Changes?
Sometimes a stone becomes unavailable between the time we select it and the time we can secure it. If that happens, I'll come back to you with alternative options at the same quality and price point. If nothing works for you, 100% of any funds you've paid will be refunded. You will never lose money in this process.
Step 6: You See It Before It Ships
Once your item has passed my quality check, I send you photos, video, and the grading certificate so you can see your piece before it leaves my hands.
Step 7: Secure, Insured Shipping
Every order ships via USPS Priority Mail, fully insured, with an adult signature required on delivery. Your piece is protected from the moment it leaves me until the moment it arrives at your door.
Step 8: How Long Does It Take?
For sourcing only, plan for 2-4 weeks. For custom pieces, 4-6 weeks is typical, though some stones sourced from international wholesalers may take a bit longer due to US Customs processing. Whenever I can source from a domestic supplier at the same price and quality, I always will.
