Virtue Diamonds was born from a deeply personal moment—one that forever changed how I see jewelry, and what it should represent. In 2023, I lost my mom. In the same month, I was also celebrating my wedding anniversary with my husband, John. It was a season of both grief and love—loss and gratitude existing side by side in a way I had never experienced before. After she passed, my mom left me all of her jewelry. Each piece carried memories, milestones, and meaning. I couldn’t imagine letting them sit in a box, untouched.

I wanted to transform them into something I could wear every day—something that honored her, while also celebrating my marriage and the life I was continuing to build. So I decided to use her original settings to create my own wedding ring upgrade, which has now become our original "Kim" ring design. What I thought would be a meaningful and creative process quickly became something else entirely.

As I worked with custom jewelers, I found myself frustrated. The experience felt impersonal, the pricing lacked transparency, and the final product didn’t always reflect the level of care or quality I expected—especially for something so sentimental. I realized something in that process: I could do this better. Not just better in design—but better in experience, honesty, and value. That realization became the foundation of Virtue Diamonds.

I set out to create a different kind of jewelry experience—one where clients feel informed, respected, and genuinely excited about what they’re creating. A place where custom doesn’t mean complicated or overpriced, but instead means intentional, collaborative, and beautifully executed. Since starting Virtue Diamonds, I’ve had the privilege of designing and creating hundreds of custom pieces. Each one tells a story—engagements, anniversaries, personal milestones, and even deeply emotional tributes.

What began as a way to honor my mom has grown into something much bigger: helping others turn their most meaningful moments into something they can hold onto forever. Along the way, many of my clients have become more than just customers—they’ve become friends. That’s something I never take for granted.

The name “Virtue” reflects the values at the heart of everything I do: honesty, integrity, and doing right by people. In an industry where markups can be excessive and transparency is often lacking, I’m committed to offering exceptional quality, thoughtful design, and a level of service that truly puts my clients first.
